Ready for farewells
We have booked tickets to Cleveland for next week--with the understanding that we will probably change the dates. Hospice has given Tony's mom "maybe" a week or so. She's not eating or drinking. The family chose to leave her at the nursing home, instead of moving her into the hospice facility. She wouldn't handle the move well. Tony's dad is doing OK--missing her, but glad she's not in pain. When Tony and his sisters were there last week, they planned the funeral--and his dad's also. Everything is set--prayers, music, everything. So--we'll be ready when we get the call. I've been trying to keep the laundry up--but the washer decided to break down. It's just over a year old. Thank goodness we bought an extended warranty. This will be the first time an extended warranty paid for itself!

Keep us posted. Both you and
Tony are in our thoughts and prayers as you deal with this very difficult yet sweet experience. Sweet for his Mom and Dad, difficult for all their children. It's just amazing that his Dad is doing so poorly at the same time. We love you and our hearts are with you.
I'm sorry to hear that. Give Tony my love.
If you guys need anything please let us know.
