"Where do you see yourself in 10 years?"
After reading Julie's blog about the death of her friend, it almost scares me to try to think ahead. Tony & I are both feeling our mortality.
But--in 10 years, we'd just be getting back from our mission to Alaska. We spent the time in remote areas and grew to love the native Alaskans. And the fresh fish.
We'd come back to our little condo in American Fork, and get new carpet and counters. And have a professional decorate it. And clean it every week.
We'd be close to all the kids, because the ones who are far away will have moved back. The grandkids will have us in the audience for every recital, play, graduation, game--everything!
They will have sleep-overs at our house. We'll make cookies every day. Tony will teach them how to find satellites in the night sky. We'll play games with them. And swim in the pool. And watch movies. And share what little wisdom we have with them.
Sounds pretty good!

If you would have told me we could make cookies everyday I would have moved next door years ago.
Seriously though, I would love to live close enough for my kids to have sleepovers with grandma and grandpa. That's the good stuff!
