Last week at Spirit Lake. The tiger trout were biting!! This is Alyssa and just one of many that she caught. A tiger trout is a cross between a Brookie and a brown. They don't reproduce and Spirit Lake and tributaries will be poisoned this fall due to some disease so the limits have been raised in tiger and rainbows from these waters. It was fun to see the kids having fun and catching lots of fish. And they were marinated and cooked by Seth and Julie --delicious!

The kids loved fishing somewhere where the fish actually bite and the tiger trout was pretty tasty too. We had such a great time. Thanks for everything. Let's do it again soon.
Makes my mouth water. Nothing better than fresh, FRESH as in just caught, trout fried in a pan. Looks so fun.
