Alone again
I was gone all last week. Got home about 1 am Sunday morning, got a few hours sleep, then church and waved good-bye to Tony. He was called for jury duty for district court in Cheyenne, and had to report Monday morning. The instructions were to come prepared for several days in case you got picked. Guess what?? It's a good thing he packed 5 days worth of clothing, because he's on the jury! Bad timing at work because the wife of his boss is having surgery in Ogden tomorrow, and so that leaves the IT department empty! But the good news is that he will not have to serve on another jury for the next 2 years, so we can plan vacations and trips without worrying about jury duty cutting it short. Oh yeah--if they don't decide by Friday afternoon, he will make another trip to Cheyenne on Sunday night! Good thing he LOVES Little America, and got the state rate for his room!

It's really an honor to serve. I never get picked. But I keep thinking it would be fun one time to actually get seated on a jury instead of just delivered letters about being in the pool. It will be interesting to find out what this one's all about.
You knew that would happen though. At lest he's making the big bucks!
