That's Ellie (Liz & Jacob's), Chloe (Seth & Julie's) and Maya (Em & Branch's) with Grandma, wearing onesies that say "What happens at Grandma's, stays at Grandma's". We had a great time camping in the Tetons. There were as many as 12 of us--Seth, Julie, Alyssa, Alex & Chloe; Liz, Jacob, & Ellie; Em & Maya; and Tony and me. We rented a 27 foot trailer for Seth and his family, and the rest of us stayed in our fifth-wheel. We saw the major sites in the Tetons, spent a day in Yellowstone, went in to Jackson several times. We swam in a small lake--swam is a term I use loosely. We mostly waded. We left for the lake, and left the bag of swimsuits for Seth's family behind. So, Alyssa didn't have a suit. Liz came to the rescue with Ellie's size 12-month swimsuit, that actually fit 6 year old Alyssa--the top didn't quite meet the bottom, but it still fit! Alyssa and Alex thought Yellowstone "stinks". The smell from the hot pots was a bit overpowering! Liz took about 800 pictures! Seth, Liz & Tony went white water rafting on the Snake River, then Seth, Liz and Alyssa rented a canoe and paddled on Jenny Lake. We are already making plans for a rerun in 3 or 4 years--hopefully with everyone this time! As Tony & I talk about what a great time we had, we realize that, in 20 or 30 years, there will be repeats of this trip, as this tradition will pass down among the generations. We can just see our children taking their children and grandchildren camping, or going on family trips. What a precious payback!
